4000 Wisconsin Avenue building in Uptown Washington, D.C. provides office space for Fannie Mae, underground parking, a luxury health club, and a variety of neighborhood-focused retail sites.

The three building complex was in need of restoration, waterproofing and general maintenance.

The overall project required five areas of repair solutions. Ev-Air-Tight, Shoemaker recaulked the entire façade of the building as a waterproofing measure. The courtyard and parking deck expansion joints were analyzed and completely replaced.

Garage work on the properties included repairs to concrete spalls as well as some post tension cable repairs. For durability and waterproofing, the garage parking deck was recoated with a polyurethane coating system. The project was completed with replacement of brick pavers along the main entry sidewalk adjacent to Wisconsin Avenue.
